Meeting in the Polish embassy in Berlin

Mrs Dorota Białczak, counsellor of embassy in the Polish embassy in Berlin, and Marion and Gibfried Schenk, PeaceBread office, exchanged information on the latest developments with regard to the “PeaceBread” project. Poland will participate in the conference and the ceremonial act with own contributions on 30th September and 1rst October 2014.

Mrs Białczak surprised the PeaceBread representatives with the publication „Polish Food“ of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development which also introduces the PeaceBread project (see below).

The Association PeaceBread

The non-profit association PeaceBread based in Berlin was created according to its statutes to

highlight and make a contribution to the reciprocal connection between peace keeping in Europe and the world and sustainable agriculture,
contribute to the commemoration of the fall of the Berlin Wall and the Iron Curtain in Europe in 1989 and to refer to the new possibilities that were created by universal peace in Europe,
include partners from countries that joined the European Union after 1989 or have a membership prospect and therefore promote peace and the understanding between nations.

The members and the managing office of the Association PeaceBread are doing this on a honorary basis. The association acts independently in matters of organization and content
