PeaceBread members honour Albrecht Daniel Thaer in Leipzig

Leipzig, June 16th 2018.

The promotional organisation Albrecht Daniel Thaer e.V. organized an event together with the Albrecht-Daniel-Thaer-Institute for Agricultural – and Veterinary Science at the University of Leipzig, the Economical Society of Leipzig and the BBG Bodenbearbeitungsgeräte Leipzig GmbH und Co. KG about „Albrecht Daniel Thaer and the development of agricultural engineering in Leipzig“.
For the Thaer-friends and the attending PeaceBread- members Prof. Dr. Frank Ellmer, Dr. Wilfried Hübner, Adalbert Kienle and Dr. Gibfried Schenk the picture taken at the Monument of the Battle of the Nations at Leipzig was an honour and pleasure at the same time.

The Association PeaceBread

The non-profit association PeaceBread based in Berlin was created according to its statutes to

highlight and make a contribution to the reciprocal connection between peace keeping in Europe and the world and sustainable agriculture,
contribute to the commemoration of the fall of the Berlin Wall and the Iron Curtain in Europe in 1989 and to refer to the new possibilities that were created by universal peace in Europe,
include partners from countries that joined the European Union after 1989 or have a membership prospect and therefore promote peace and the understanding between nations.

The members and the managing office of the Association PeaceBread are doing this on a honorary basis. The association acts independently in matters of organization and content
