PeaceBread project becomes part of Researcher’s Night on science festival in Hungary

Researcher’s Night is a science festival in Europe to bring research closer to the people. We have many fascinating programs in the NARIC and this year PeaceBread will be part of them. We are planning to draw attention of visitors to the philosophy of PeaceBread Project.

Furthermore, classes from the local schools will have the opportunity to take part in the rye sowing. Each classes will have their own PeaceBread rye plots, they can see and nurse the rye plants from the sowing to the harvest.

The Association PeaceBread

The non-profit association PeaceBread based in Berlin was created according to its statutes to

highlight and make a contribution to the reciprocal connection between peace keeping in Europe and the world and sustainable agriculture,
contribute to the commemoration of the fall of the Berlin Wall and the Iron Curtain in Europe in 1989 and to refer to the new possibilities that were created by universal peace in Europe,
include partners from countries that joined the European Union after 1989 or have a membership prospect and therefore promote peace and the understanding between nations.

The members and the managing office of the Association PeaceBread are doing this on a honorary basis. The association acts independently in matters of organization and content
