Byala Slatina, 21.06.2019: Kostadin Kostadinov, President of the Association declared: “The main purpose of the Bread of Peace project is to focus public attention on the benefits of cooperation and reunification within the European Union. It is no coincidence that the “PeaceBread” unites and united the peoples of the Old Continent. And as we know – nothing is bigger than bread! It is therefore an honor for us to be part of the international message of peace and unification. We believe that in the new political environment in the European Union, agriculture will not be the dividing line between big and smaller countries, between Western and Eastern European countries”.

The Association PeaceBread

The non-profit association PeaceBread based in Berlin was created according to its statutes to

highlight and make a contribution to the reciprocal connection between peace keeping in Europe and the world and sustainable agriculture,
contribute to the commemoration of the fall of the Berlin Wall and the Iron Curtain in Europe in 1989 and to refer to the new possibilities that were created by universal peace in Europe,
include partners from countries that joined the European Union after 1989 or have a membership prospect and therefore promote peace and the understanding between nations.

The members and the managing office of the Association PeaceBread are doing this on a honorary basis. The association acts independently in matters of organization and content
