Gladfully National Grain Producers Association (NGPA) informs you that the Peace Bread rye in Bulgaria has been harvested at an official ceremony on the 1st of July 2021 in Slavyanovo, region Pleven.
Guests of the event were the Minister of Agriculture, Food and Forests – Prof. Dr. Hristo Bozuko; the Director of the Department of Agriculture – Pleven regional office – Mrs. Nora Stoeva; members and friends of the National Grain Producers Association.
The hosts of the 2021 Peace Bread rye were two young and innovative farmers from the NGPA’s regional organization in the Pleven region – Mr. Kuncho Kunchev and Mr. Dimitar Nenov. They took part in the Peace Bread project with lots of love, enthusiasm and respect.

The Association PeaceBread

The non-profit association PeaceBread based in Berlin was created according to its statutes to

  • highlight and make a contribution to the reciprocal connection between peace keeping in Europe and the world and sustainable agriculture,

  • contribute to the commemoration of the fall of the Berlin Wall and the Iron Curtain in Europe in 1989 and to refer to the new possibilities that were created by universal peace in Europe,

  • include partners from countries that joined the European Union after 1989 or have a membership prospect and therefore promote peace and the understanding between nations.

The members and the managing office of the Association PeaceBread are doing this on a honorary basis. The association acts independently in matters of organization and content
