Information about postponement of yearly conference “Peace and Agriculture” 2020:

Dear friends, members and partners of the PeaceBread Association, dear ladies and gentlemen,

hereby We have to announce to you, dear friends and partners of the international network “Peace and Agriculture” and dear members of the PeaceBread Association, that the annual conference that was planned for September 2020 in Slovenia had to be postponed due to Covid-19. The Minister of all partner countries are informed as well.

We will keep you informed about the further planning and are hopeful that we will be able to continue our annual conferences in 2021.

It hurts a lot that we cannot visit each other currently. This year we miss the exchange of experiences, dear partners. All the more we appriciate the extraordinary achievment of the freedom of travel and movement. To this we have become attached and used in the last couple of years.

Look forward with us to the continuation of our talks and discussions, hopefully in a near future!

Until then we wish you good health, a great rye harvest 2020 and a savoury PeaceBread 2020 in your country!

The Association PeaceBread

The non-profit association PeaceBread based in Berlin was created according to its statutes to

  • highlight and make a contribution to the reciprocal connection between peace keeping in Europe and the world and sustainable agriculture,

  • contribute to the commemoration of the fall of the Berlin Wall and the Iron Curtain in Europe in 1989 and to refer to the new possibilities that were created by universal peace in Europe,

  • include partners from countries that joined the European Union after 1989 or have a membership prospect and therefore promote peace and the understanding between nations.

The members and the managing office of the Association PeaceBread are doing this on a honorary basis. The association acts independently in matters of organization and content
