Thanks to the active regional Association of Farmers

17.03.2016: `Dear Mr. President Udo Folgart, we would like to thank you sincerely for being so enthusiastic from the beginning on about the idea of a civic european PeaceBread project and that the Regional Association of Farmers from Brandenburg is a supporting member of the project`, said the chairman of the PeaceBread Association Adalbert Kienle at the Regional Farmers Day Brandenburg in Falkenberg/Elster in front of 300 participants from the agricultural profession and politics.

Adalbert Kienle also pointed out that the PeaceBread Association devotes itself to the professional and amicable exchange across borders and discusses future questions of the security of supply, the agricultural industry and the rural areas. Agriculture needs peace to complete its tasks, but peace is a task one needs to address everyday everywhere and in every position of society.

Therefore Adalbert Kienle invited the Regional Association of Farmers from Brandenburg cordially under their new President Hendrik Wendorff to be an active part of the PeaceBread Association based in Berlin.

The Association PeaceBread

The non-profit association PeaceBread based in Berlin was created according to its statutes to

  • highlight and make a contribution to the reciprocal connection between peace keeping in Europe and the world and sustainable agriculture,

  • contribute to the commemoration of the fall of the Berlin Wall and the Iron Curtain in Europe in 1989 and to refer to the new possibilities that were created by universal peace in Europe,

  • include partners from countries that joined the European Union after 1989 or have a membership prospect and therefore promote peace and the understanding between nations.

The members and the managing office of the Association PeaceBread are doing this on a honorary basis. The association acts independently in matters of organization and content
