From 6–9 October 2026, the international PeaceBread Network will gather in Balchik, Bulgaria for the 12th International Conference “Peace and Agriculture” under the theme “Resilience of Agriculture in Times of Crises.”

Representatives from ministries, civil society organisations, farmers’ associations and partner organisations from across Europe will come together to discuss current challenges and strengthen dialogue on peace, agriculture and rural development.

For the second time, the conference will be complemented by the Sourdough Camp, bringing together young people from across the PeaceBread partner countries. Through workshops, exchange and collaboration, participants will develop ideas and recommendations that will feed directly into the international conference.
