These are some pictures of the rye harvest at the Chapel of Reconciliation this year. Mr Gerd-Uwe BÖSCHE (Faculty of Farming and Gardening of the Humboldt University)was driving the combine.

He got active support from the members of the association FriedensBrot e.V. (PeaceBread) Mrs Heidrun ALBERT, retired Priest Mr Manfred FISCHER (both Chapel of Reconciliation), Mr Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Frank ELLMER and Mr Dr. Wilfried HÜBNER (both Faculty of Farming and Gardening of the Humboldt University).

Dr. HÜBNER reports: “The rye harvest could not have been better. It was also important that representatives of the Wall Memorial and of the Parish of Reconciliation took care of recovering the straw, hence enabling Mr BÖSCHE to cultivate the stubble shortly afterwards.”
