Nordland Mühlen Jarmen
The Nordland Mühlen GmbH was founded as Jarmener Kunstmühle in 1907. The affix „Kunstmühle“ (artificial mill) was given because the mill was driven by artificial, namely electrical energy. In 1992, Kurt Kampffmeyer acquired the Jarmener Mühle – in addition to his enterprises in Berlin, Potsdam, Mannheim, Cologne and Hameln – and finally created the largest milling group in Germany.
Nordland Mühlen GmbH in Jarmen is situated on the Peene River in Northern Germany close to the Baltic Sea ports Rostock, Stralsund, Wolgast, Saßnitz (Rügen).
It has a processing capacity of 60000 tons per year and supplies the industry, wholesalers, commercial users as well as bakeries and pastry chefs in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, northern Brandenburg, Berlin and the Stettin district with milled wheat and rye products.
Our state-of-the-art production equipment has still retained its artisan character. We offer a broad range of specialty products such as groats, flakes and flours for coatings and dusting.
