The association PeaceBread (Friedensbrot e.V.) is happy to announce that the long-established BAKERY & PASTRY SHOP WOLFGANG ZIMMERMANN in Berlin-Staaken will bake the mutual European PeaceBread.
The day will finally have come in July / August 2014: The eleven partner countries of the PeaceBread project will be able to ship their newly harvested rye to Berlin, where colleagues at Humboldt-University Berlin will take care of cleaning the grain. In a next step, the valuable crop will be handed over to the BAKERY & PASTRY SHOP WOLFGANG ZIMMERMANN which in turn will have the flour of the PeaceBread-rye milled at Nordlandmühlen Jarmen (Nordland Mills Jarmen), the VK Mühlen AG, in Mecklenburg-West Pomerania.
Together with colleagues and partners, master baker Wolfgang Zimmermann will thus contribute decisively to the success of the conference and the ceremonial act “Peace and Agriculture“ on 30th September and 1rst October 2014.
